Objectives:
The purpose of this course is to present the different ways the Garifuna People can economically sustain themselves using the legacy of our Ancestors. The Garifuna people settled in Honduras, Belize, Guatemala and Nicaragua where they practiced their way of life they developed over the centuries. Students will be taught how to transform the Garifuna way of life into economic activities by adding relevant aspects of modernity to present to the wider society. The target group will be Garifuna wherever they live.
